The energy was electric, the votes poured in, and the London community showed up in full force for the final week of Ironstone Impact 2024! This year’s charitable giving campaign concluded with two incredible organizations going head-to-head: Karen’s Place London and BGC London. Their impactful missions and tireless dedication inspired Londoners to take action and vote for the charity closest to their hearts.
And the Results Are In!
After an exciting week of voting, Karen’s Place emerged as the top charity, earning the lion’s share of community support. Thanks to your votes, Karen’s Place will receive a transformative $75,000 to further its mission of providing safe and supportive housing for women in need. This funding will help Karen’s Place continue to create a positive and lasting impact in the lives of countless women in our community.
While Karen’s Place takes home the grand prize, we also want to celebrate BGC London, which finished as a strong runner-up. They will receive $15,000 to support their critical work empowering children and youth through enriching programs and services. This funding will ensure they continue to nurture the next generation of leaders in London.
