What is the TARION Warranty?

Buying a new build has its perks! Your new home comes with a 7-year Tarion Warranty.

Tarion is a private corporation that regulates all new home builders and protects the rights of new home buyers. They administer the Ontario new home Warranties Plan Act, which sets out the warranty protection that new homeowners are entitled to in Ontario. After you move in, there are specific statutory warranties: the 30-day, 1-year, 2 year and 7-year warranty, covering major defects. These warranties begin the day you take occupancy.

Each Warranty milestone must be submitted through Tarion.
